George Leigh - Set, Lighting & Costume Designer


George has recently graduated with a 1st Class BA(hons) in Theatre and Performance Design from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, specialising in Scenic and Lighting Design. He also has experience with costume design, through hypothetical projects and practical experience since graduating, for example, working as Associate Designer on the National Youth Theatre production 'Story of Our Youth - A 60th Anniversary Gala'.

George has a particular interest in designing for Opera. Having had numerous work placements with Designers at Opera North and English National Opera, leading onto assistant opportunities from this experience.

With an aptitude for computer aided design and modelling, this is an area that George is keen to expand upon and feed into his work as a set and lighting designer.
